Holocaust Presentation - May 23, 2014
Students in Ms. Carasik's 6th grade Gifted & Talented class presented a special program about the Holocaust to the entire 6th grade on Tuesday, May 27th.  Students performed a short play they wrote based on the life of Holocaust survivor Eva Galler. They also spoke about several important people from the Holocaust, including Anne Frank and Elie Wiesel, and read poems about the Holocaust.  The main part of the program was devoted to the personal reminiscences of guest speaker Diny Adkins, a Holocaust survivor who was born in Holland in 1938 and resides in Charleston.  Ms. Adkins is pictured below.
