Ms. Natalie Best
I teach English to multilingual learners! This is my 8th year at Zucker, and I love it! I have worked as an ESOL teacher in Dorchester District 2, as Assistant Director of International Student and Scholar Services at Appalachian State University, and as an ELA and English teacher in middle and high schools.
I have a bachelor’s degree in Comparative Literature from the University of Georgia, a master's degree in teaching English from Emory University, a specialization in teaching English as a second language from the College of Charleston, and a master's degree in school administration from the Citadel.
I have lived in New York City, France, Costa Rica, and Nicaragua but am originally from Atlanta, Georgia. My husband, two sons, and I have lived in Charleston for 11 years. Outside of school, I love spending time with my family, reading, having outdoor adventures, and cooking.
