Ms. Michelle Cutler-Smith

Michelle Cutler-Smith graduated from Worcester Polytechnic Institute with a Bachelor of Science in Management Engineering. She spent the majority of her early career at Polaroid Corporation in jobs ranging from manufacturing engineering to corporate marketing. During her tenure at Polaroid she obtained her Master’s in Business Administration through the executive program at Suffolk University. As a commodity manager for Mersen, a fuse manufacturer, she focused on international collaboration and teaching colleagues in France, Mexico, and China.

When her family moved to South Carolina, Ms. Cutler-Smith volunteered at her daughter’s middle school to see if she could be of service. At Haut Gap Middle School, she quickly got hooked on supporting middle schoolers with math and also became a resource to assist with the school’s LEGO/Robotics program. Ms. Cutler-Smith’s primary hobby is walking Beau, the family’s re-homed English Labrador Retriever.
