Mr. Travis Gladden

My name is Travis Gladden, and I am proud to be a part of the Zucker Middle School family! Here at Zucker Middle School, I have the pleasure of teaching seventh-grade math. I am
originally from Saint Matthews, SC, but I currently reside right here in our community. I received my bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from South Carolina State University and am currently obtaining a Master’s Degree in Administration and Supervision from Liberty University. I have a true passion for working with students and helping them become the next great leaders of the world. When I was in 7th grade, I knew I wanted to become a teacher to help students become better mathematicians and better people, just as my teachers did for me. As a teacher, I live by this philosophy, "I aim to bring an open mind, a positive attitude, and high expectations to the classroom each day. I believe that I owe it to my students, as well as the community, to bring consistency, attentiveness, and warmth to my job in the hope that I can ultimately inspire and encourage such traits in the children as well."  The 2023-2024 school year will be both my 8th year teaching and my 8th year at Zucker Middle School. I look forward to working with the students, parents, and community this school year.
