Che Guevara was a leading figure in several Latin America revolutionary movements. He was born in Rosario, Argentina on June 14, 1928. He fought for social justice and became a symbol of rebellion against oppression. He died in Santa Cruz, Bolivia on October 9, 1967 at age 39 after being shot by the Bolivian army for being a threat against the country’s repressive military government.
